The BLAST

"The Blast" Sandwich: A Flavor Explosion!

Ingredients:

- 2 slices of your favorite tomato

- 1/2 or 1/4 of a ripe avocado

- 2 or 3 leaves of Bibb lettuce

- 6 to 8 medium shrimp, seasoned with Lucky Cajun Black Label or Voodoo and tossed in olive oil

- 3 to 4 slices of good hardwood smoked bacon

- Grilled sourdough slices, brushed with olive oil

- For the Garlic Aioli:

- 1/3 cup mayo

- 1 clove of finely chopped fresh garlic

- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

- 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)

- 1/2 teaspoon of Lucky Cajun Black Label

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Cook the bacon until desired doneness in the preheated oven.

3. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic aioli by mixing together mayo, chopped garlic, lemon juice, EVOO, and Lucky Cajun Black Label until smooth. Set aside.

4. Brush olive oil on the Lucky Cajun Black Label sourdough slices and grill them until lightly toasted.

5. Season the shrimp with your chosen Cajun seasoning and toss them in olive oil. Cook the seasoned shrimp in a cast iron grill pan until done.

6. To assemble the sandwich, spread the garlic aioli on both sides of the grilled sourdough slices.

7. On one side of the bread, layer the tomato slices and Bibb lettuce.

8. On the other side, arrange the avocado slices, followed by the cooked bacon and grilled shrimp.

9. Carefully bring both sides together to form the sandwich.

10. Serve immediately and enjoy the explosion of flavors!

Notes:

- This recipe makes one delicious sandwich with plenty of garlic aioli for other culinary adventures.

- Feel free to adjust the quantities of ingredients to suit your taste preferences.

- While this aioli isn't fully traditional, it adds a delightful zing to "The Blast" sandwich experience.
