The Ultimate Lamb Burger with Apricot Mint Jelly

Lamb lovers, this one’s for you! These lamb burgers are juicy, perfectly spiced, and topped with a homemade apricot mint jelly that’s both sweet and refreshing. If you’ve never paired mint jelly for lamb, get ready for a game-changer!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 6 brioche slider buns
  • ¼ cup apricot preserves
  • 3 sprigs mint (torn or chopped)
  • 1 ½ tbsp Lucky Cajun Greek Out!!
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Lamb Patties – Weigh out 2.7 oz portions, shaping into patties. Season well with Lucky Cajun Greek Out!!.
  2. Make the Mint Jelly – Heat apricot preserves in a pan with a splash of water. Add chopped mint and let it infuse.
  3. Toast the Buns – Heat a medium-high pan with olive oil. Toast brioche buns just until golden.
  4. Cook the Lamb Patties – Sear over medium-high heat, aiming for a crispy crust and juicy inside:
    • Medium-rare: 130-135°F (about 3 min)
    • Medium: 135-145°F
  5. Assemble & Enjoy! – Place patties on toasted buns, spoon over apricot mint jelly, and dig in!
